Founded in 2006 by Sayyada Husain, Shining Stars Nursery is a family owned nursery built with the vision of creating a warm, welcoming space where children could grow in confidence and curiosity. With her N.N.E.B. qualification in Childcare and Education (1992) and over 30 years of experience as a manager, Sayyada has dedicated herself to helping children take their first steps toward a bright and successful future.
We stay current with the latest government guidelines and regularly update our skills through courses in Safeguarding, First Aid, Equal Opportunities, and Food Hygiene.
Our dedicated and qualified educators are the heart of our nursery. Led by our experienced manager, every team member holds qualifications in Childcare and Education.

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters framework. We help children grow through fun, caring, child-centred experiences.

Story time, songs, circle time and conversation develop listening, speaking and understanding.

Once accepted, we confirm your child's place and arrange a settling-in session.
We are registered with the local authority and accept all available government funding schemes, subject to eligibility. Fees are payable weekly or monthly, and we accept childcare vouchers.
All children become eligible for 15 hours of free early years funding the term after their 3rd birthday. We offer 5 morning or 5 afternoon sessions for 38 weeks a year. Some 2-year-olds may also be eligible.
